Painting Contest on Environment at Greater Noida
Seeing the successful emergence of GQC Creation in conducting three environment friendly painting competitions for the school children at Sreenivaspuri, Lodhi Road Complex and GTB Encalve in Delhi, YMCA equally interested in environmental activities partnered with GQC and conducted the fourth Painting Competition at YMCA, Greater Noida in April 2007. This time, GQC was expanding its wings of activities outside Delhi and the response was encouraging. Rajeev Joseph was applauded for conducting such a mass environment awareness program with innovations. Around thousand children at the age group of 3-17 from schools in Greater Noida and Noida took the advantage of the competition and the visitors were with boundless appreciation for the participants as well as the organisers. This green competition was inaugurated by Secretary of Greater Noida YMCA in the august presence of Academicians, Civil Society leaders, prominent artists and environmentalists. Mr. John Varghese, Miss. Agnes Rajeev, Miss Neha Gupta and Mrs. Molly Rajeev were worked tirelessly to make the program a memorable event. |
