Grand reception organised for Hibi Eden MLA, NSUI President
Congress south Indian Forum (Delhi State Committee) organised a felicitation function for Mr. Hibi Eden, the youngest MLA in Kerala Assembly and National President of NSUI at Kerala House, New Delhi on 9th June 2011. Minister of State for Power Mr. K.C Venugopal was the chief guest. He received Hibi Eden with bouquet and shawl. According to K.C Venugopal, Mr. Hibi Eden posses a rich political heritage and he had overcome a lot of personal struggles to reach the highest organisational and legislative positions he attained today. Minister Venugopal complimented Mr. Hibi Eden to get more opportunities to serve the nation at national level in the coming days. Congress South Indian Forum, Delhi State President Mr. Rajeev Joseph Presided over the meeting. On his presidential address Rajeev Joseph elaborated that Congress South Indian Forum is on the fore front to unite 2.5 million South Indians residing in Delhi as the supporters of congress party in the developmental initiatives for national integrity and economic prosperity. The representatives of different political, social, cultural youth and student organisations felicitated Mr. Eden with bouquet and shawls. On the occasion, Indian Youth Congress Secretary Mr. Harshawardhan, IYC Enquiry Commission Chairman Adv. Sajeev Joseph, DPCC Secretary Mr. K.N Jayaraj, Mr. Rajesh Nambiar, Chairman of SITD, World Malayalee Council Delhi unit president Dr. George Varghese, Delhi Malayalee Association Secretary Mr. C.L Antony, Youth Congress leader Mr. Arun Garg, Mr. S.K Jain, Mr. Umesh Chandra Gaur, Congress South Indian Forum General Secretaries Adv. Shaji Mathew, Mr. Abdulla Kavungal, Adv. James P. Thomas, Mr. O.N. Thankachan, CBCI Labour Commission Executive Director Fr. Jose Vattakkuzhi also spoke and garlanded Mr. Hibi Eden.
