Coaching Classes for Karate
Karate is considered as the best self defence tool and was popular among children and youths in UAE especially among the Indian communities. In UAE, Karate training institutes charged hefty fees for the coaching programs and it was a distressing matter for moderate income group parents to send their children to expensive professional training academies. Comprehending the need for getting opportunities for children belonging to economically moderate income groups, Rajeev Joseph started free Karate coaching in association with Progressive English School, Sharjah, under the banner of International Public Library. Seibukkan Karate Centre, Sharjah extended support to get the children recognition and well-known Karate Trainer Black Belt Abi imparted qualitative training for more than 100 enthusiastic children regularly for three years. Rajeev Joseph organized many ‘Leadership and Personality Development Programs’ for Children and Adults in Dubai and Sharjah and summer camps for children of UAE in Sharjah for 1999, 2000 and 2001. In summer camps, he conducted Sports and Arts Training Programs on Basket Ball, Badminton, Karate, Carnatic Music, Dance, Musical Instruments, Drawing & Painting for the members of Five Star Library in Sharjah with the support of Sharjah Indian Association and Progressive English School, Sharjah.
