Motor Rally for Water from Delhi to Ajmeer
Water is an invaluable asset and basic component of life on earth. But water level is depleting at an alarming speed. To sensitize the people about the urgent need to conserve water and adopt a ‘say no to waste water’ life style, New Delhi YMCA conducted a Motor Cycle Rally from Delhi to Ajmer on 1st December 2010. Secretary to President of India, Dr. Christi Fernandez, IAS flagged off the Rally while Rajeev Joseph was one of the Guest on the occasion. Rajeev Joseph inspired and motivated the rallists sharing his experiences on his World Cycle Expedition for Peace and Disarmament and National Bi-cycle Safari for National Integration in 1985. Earlier also Rajeev Joseph actively participated in a New Delhi YMCA initiated peace rally on Motor Cycle ‘Aman Ke Karwan’ from Delhi to Mumbai to pay homage to the victims of Mumbai Terror attack on 26, November 2008.
